About Personal Information
In this Privacy Policy, “personal information” means information relating to an individual, including name, date of birth, email address and other descriptions, images or voice data, and any number, symbol or other code assigned individually that can identify a specific person. Under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan, such information is protected as personal information when it is recorded in a form that enables identification of a specific individual.
Compliance with Laws and Guidelines
FINAL TOKYO Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations, as well as guidelines issued by the Personal Information Protection Commission and other authorities, and properly handles user information.
Methods of Collecting Personal Information
When you use certain services, the Company may collect personal information such as your name, date of birth, telephone number and email address. All such information is collected by lawful and fair means only for the purposes of use described below. We do not collect or use personal information concerning race, ethnicity, family origin, social status, registered domicile, religion, political views, or membership of labor unions.
Provision to Third Parties
The Company will not provide personal information included in user information to any third party
without obtaining the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases:
(1) When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope
necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
(2) When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to a merger
or other reasons.
(3) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government body, or a person entrusted by such body,
in performing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the user’s consent may impede
the execution of such affairs.
(4) In other cases permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws
and regulations.
Disclosure of Personal Information
When the Company is requested by a user to disclose personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, after confirming that the request is made by the individual concerned, the Company will promptly disclose such information to the user (or notify the user if such personal information does not exist). However, this does not apply where the Company has no disclosure obligation under the Act or other applicable laws and regulations.
Correction and Deletion of Personal Information
Users may, in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company, make the following requests: to confirm that the personal information held by the Company about themselves is not incorrect; and to correct or delete such personal information if it is found to be incorrect.
Security Control Measures
The Company implements reasonable and strict security measures against risks such as unauthorized access to personal information, loss, destruction, falsification and leakage. However, the Company cannot be held responsible for loss, destruction, falsification or leakage of personal information caused by reasons beyond the Company’s control, including, but not limited to, the cases described below.
When Personal Information Is Disclosed on the Internet
When personal information is disclosed on websites other than those operated by the Company; when personal information is leaked from the device used by the customer; or when personal information is leaked due to the use of a password under the customer’s control.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
The contents of this Privacy Policy may be changed without prior notice to customers.
Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall become effective
from the time it is posted on the Company’s website.
